I grew up with the most incredible English-style garden my Mum lovingly tended as my very own backyard. David Austin roses, lavender rows, a massive silver birch, box hedges, a mulberry tree (best climbing tree in the street) & masses of various other flowers & shrubs filled the garden beds. Full Secret Garden vibes. So it’s no real surprise that I’ve ended up working with flowers myself. They make me happy and they make others happy. They’re a gift, a statement when words just aren’t enough, a scene-setter.
